For several hours we visited Kylemore Abbey which has a beautiful walled Victorian Garden. The big house on the grounds was built in the late 19th century and ownership changed several times until 1920 when the Benedictine Sisters bought it and turned it into an abbey.> https://www.kylemoreabbey.com/. Before we got back to the hotel for a second night in Galway we stopped at the magnificent and modern Galway Cathedral > https://www.galwaycathedral.ie/.
