+ On Friday, September 16, 2022, we enjoyed one of Ireland's very special treats, the the marvelous Ring of Kerry > https://www.ireland.com/en-us/destinations/regions/ring-of-kerry/. All of the tour buses go counter-clockwise around the Iveragh Peninsula. We could see Carrauntoohil Mountain. the highest mountain in Ireland (3406 feet), from the bus. We stopped at Waterville, a lovely village near the Western end of the peninsula with a great view of the Atlantic. There is a statue of Buster Keaton there since Waterville became his home. We stopped for lunch at The Scariff Inn, a remote restaurant on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic. Later we went on a very enjoyable and scenic cart ride in the Killarney National Park > https://www.killarneynationalpark.ie/. Sam was our horse and Denis (Dennis has only one n in Gaelic) was the driver. He was delightful.
