Visiting Peru : Puno and the Valle Sagrado

After leaving Copacabana, Bolivia, we took a bus bound to Puno, another city by the Titicaca lac (in Peru). Curious town, again with strong Inca influence and origins.
Clearly, a poor area of Peru. As an attraction of the area, one can visit the floating islands on the Titicaca lac, made with a particular type of straw, where some people really live.
After one or two days in Puno, we took another bus for Cusco, which was the capital of the great Inca Empire until the starting of Spanish colonization.
The incas were strongly agressed by spanish troops, but because they had an advanced civilization, their culture and ethnic survived.
Cusco is placed in the heart of the Valle Sagrado (Sacred Valley) with a beautiful and fertile plantation area; corn and coca were - and still are - main crops in Valle Sagrado.
Taking a local van in Cusco we visited some villages in this valley (see the map, second picture).
