In these photo galleries you will see two different approaches to implementing the 911 Parking Brake System to the rear trailing-arm of the Porsche 914-6 GT.
The 911 Parking Brake was used on the factory 914-6 GT Rally cars along with a modified parking brake lever.https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/88612429 The engagement pawl on the rachet was reversed so that the pawl would only engage the rachet when the lever button was depressed.
NOTE: I have no other photos of the rest of the parking brake mechanism such as the parking-brake lever, cable routing, etc. Hope to add these missing photos in the future. We're still doing more research to get this done right. If you have any information and details to contribute, please be sure and email those to me at AJSERRANO at MSN dot COM - Thank you in advance!
