Sample Installation - Porsche Factory

Bernie, these are all the reference photos I could find while researching the 'rally parking brake lever' and related mechanism.

MONTE CARLO 914-6 GT (vin 0141) This GT also had the parking brake relocated to the center and the area of the tunnel reinforced https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/88612422 to eliminate flexing and more positive braking response (and so did the Nurbergring 914-6 GT as shown in this photo https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/88612423)

Nurburgring 914-6 GT (Miles Collier car) Take a look at this photo https://pbase.com/9146gt/image/88612429 and note the colored arrows. The parking brake lever of this GT was heavily modified. It appears that it was cut and made longer (Purple Arrow). It was also reinforced (Green Arrow) and a new shorter mounting bracket was fabricated (Red Arrow). The lever also has a 'pawl and ratchet' system different from the factory 914-6 and some 911s (Blue Arrow). Can you identify the pawl-ratchet used in this lever? If so, please email me at ajserrano@msn.com - Thanks!
