Thank you very much. I had another comment that it might be a Great White Heron, but, My bird book, Birds of North America by National Geographic shows the Great White Heron to have yellow legs and this bird has dark legs. Additionally though, the book states under the heading of Great Egret " a large white heron with yellow bill".
