The Redbuds are spectacular around the Highland Rim of Tennessee for the next several weeks.
Right now they a showy in the primarily dormant forest along the roadsides. Finding a
little contrast to make these subtle beauties stand out is often difficult. The still
shaded Cedars surrounding and towering above this one helped out as the sun cut through a
gap illuminating the blooms
