One Last Look

As we pulled away, I took this one last shot from the car.
The experience was all so "real", I think I half expected to
see someone standing in one of the windows,,,as always,
watching someone leave.

I also see the little face peaking from behind the curtain. It also does appear to be a woman standing behind her in the doorway. Very cool picture

If anyone notices that in the window where you see the little girl there is a woman in background is a woman in the door with her hands down in front of get (if you can pull the picture up close you can see it better) almost as if she watching the girl

I dont see anything here either, but in your photo, Looking up the Basement Stairs, you were not alone. There is presence not seen but felt in the corner of the stairwell. Sad and scary place, and you have depicted it with talent and grace. Thank you

There are not face's in the photo. Just coz one person said there can see a face in the window you mind tricks you and forms a face what you can see. I believe in ghost's. but there is nothing paranormal in this photo sorry people

so iv'e looked at this picture over and over again. i can see a vague figure and mist in the window above the one with the blinds. but in the left window, second floor. i know there is a shadow of trees, but i can see a girl. young, but just a face. i don't know if this is just me? or can anyone else see this?

hello my name was janice jones at the time i was placed in a mental institution. I was nine. i stay there 8 yrs. was discharged when i turned 18. i was place there to keep my dad from beating aand raping me something he did to me for 5 years. i had ect and i don't remember much. i went to school there but i can't seem to find records. the hospial was called south fla.state mental institution in hollywood fla.i am 56 now but still need answers to bit and pcs. of my life . can anyone please help me. i need to heal.i have an amazing story to tell but need guidance and support.

If you look very clsely; there appears to be someone by the door in one of the rooms. It's really creepy. but so interesting

hi there, i been lookin closly at the last picture it seems that there is a girls face in the window above the one with the blinds, but u have to tilt ure computer screen downwords to c her , she has a hand almost touchin her face!!xx fantastic photos!!

Yes and if you look very carefully at the windows on the right you can see the mist of ...um, trees - but there are NONE on the left?!... please someone, call a priest.

i can see the window above the one with the blinds on the right, a mist in the form of a human, either sitting down or a little kid standing and watching. And on the window on the far top left, i can see another mist covering a bit of the window.

i see the same face that you see in the window so no you are not crazy. these photos are amazing. i work at a mental health facility and to think that these people were mistreated is so sad

If you look at the right window, the one above the blinds, you can see a face in the smaller rectangles. Like 2 eyes, a nose, and mean looking eyebrows. I dont know if i'm crazy but I see somethin.

If you look up at the top left window you will see a face with two eyes and a tongue is sticking out. Just go to that window and look to the right and if you look close enough, you will see the face. I really like these pictures. But they are really scarry.

awesome pictures... pretty creepy!! hope you got to go back and I will definitly try to go now that I know they have allowed a lucky few in. Although, I doubt I will be brave enough to go to the tunnels either!! Did you see any pole barns on the campus? Thanks for the pictures!!

With-in these buildings u sense life, someone's life, anyones life, from my own observation from being in one of these many institutions scattered across the usa, u do feel like u leave someone or some people behind when u leave. these rooms where someones life, someones home, and now they have become nothing more than abandon memories, mostly to be demolished and to be forgotten. i have never felt more connected to something i wish i could understand. I have visited and watch as one of these institutions have been demolished b4 my eyes. I feel for it and i wished that in some way it could be remembered. But i do understand why u did feel someone should be looking at u leaving and oddly enough i do believe someone may have been. . .
