Venice California

The canals are now a quaint upscale neighborhood in Venice.
Fully restored and remodeled homes make it a postcard scene along the canal shores.
Venice California originally was to be a copy of Venice, Italy, canals and all.
Few of the original canals remain today.

Oh how I love the canal area there! So beautiful! I also like the area nearby, on the other side of Abbott Kinney I think it is ... where there aren't canals, but rather, little alleyways, or sidewalks really, onto which houses face, and the backs of the houses face alleyways. So there's no "street" per se... it's just one narrow sidewalk instead... I love that area... those houses are REALLY quaint. I'd love to live there. Do you know where I'm talking about? Oh, it just occurred to me... you may not even live in L.A. I didn't really take notice...
