Sited at Longues sur Mer - more German coastal defences - 105mm guns in concrete bunkers constructed between 1940 and 1944 as part of the German Normandy coastal defences. These guns could sink ships miles out to sea, plus they also covered the landing beaches. They and their associated gunnery control were disabled by Naval shelling and RAF bombing prior to the 6th June landings.
