This was taken at the Erie Yacht club during our delivery of the
Cheshire Cat from Bar Harbor, Miane to Saint Joseph, Michigan.
This is a 2000 mile trip, from Maine to New York City, up the Hudson,
west through the Erie Canal, through Lakes Erie, Huron, and Michigan to home.
The Cheshire Cat was built by Morris Yachts in Bass Harbor Maine,
48 feet, 32,000 pounds, 6'6" draft, sloop rig with spinnaker,
code zero reacher, removable staysail, raised salon, beautiful
inside and out with all the comforts.
I made the trip from North Tonowanda, NY to Bell Isle, Michigan with stops in
Erie, PA, Cleveland and Port Clinton, Ohio.
What a trip!
