Maggie O'Kane wrote her stories in a school compostion book with a pencil attached to the book by a string. When I shot this picture we were waiting at Sarajevo airport for a ride out on Maybe Airlines, the UN's shuttle to Split. She was named British Journalist of the Year for her work in Bosnia in '93.
