No shortage of cute kids in Kotzebue, every one of them demanding to be photographed. I got an email from a photo expert suggesting I use Photoshop to correct the excessive red cast to Tina-Tina's face. But any arctic dweller will know by the color of the light that this photo was shot around 2 a.m. on a summer's eve. Kids are allowed to stay up and enjoy the sun when it's there. The double name, Tina-Tina, means she's named after an adult, probably a grandmother or aunt, and it's less confusing when there's a Tina and a Tina-Tina.
