In May of 1983 I was walking around shooting pictures with Kodachrome 25 and my favorite Leica lens, the 19mm Elmarit. The light was terrific, late evening sun just after a good rain storm. I was in my favorite part of town, SW 2nd and Ankeny, and this man asked me to take his picture. He is Jerry John and he's probably from Alaska. I shot several pictures and then a friend of his shot one frame of me and Jerry together. The combination of the Kodachrome, the light, and the Leitz lens is awesome. This 35mm slide has enough quality to be made into a huge billboard.
