I bought this plant in 1986 to make my bike shop a little more pleasant. Paid $50. When I sold the shop it was still of manageable size and I put it in my apartment. When I moved to Alaska I gave it to Kimberly, my former roomate, and she planted it in the backyard of her Western Addition Victorian. It's now huge and threatening to take over the entire Western Addition. But it's also beautiful.
