The weather in the Arctic is changing. Old-timers tell of the many signs, most of which don't make the news. For example, beaver started appearing in the Kivalina lagoon a few years ago. The decrease in sea ice, changes in ocean temperatures, and melting glaciers are well documented. It all adds up to a new future for the land, the animals, and the people of the north.
