Memory

Art work that was originally on Lehman’s Market.
A place with a history all its own. I'll spare you.
The murals, painted in 1995 were originally 54 feet by 16 feet
depicting numerous people and pioneers from the past.
Lehman’s closed and the building sold.
The new owner wanted to redevelop it and the mural was in the way.
Locals scrambled to save what they could.
Parts of it live on sides of buildings around Sequim.

What a cool way to preserve the artwork - I'll have to keep my eyes open for it.

Love the murals and so glad at least some were saved. What a shame to have lost them all. V
