It does not matter how nice the weather has been
in April or May and this year it was very nice!
June cooled off right on cue and the rain came back.
A little slow at first but it has increased some to the
point of getting some snow in the Olympics.
It’s kind of nice to see when the mountains peak out
extra white and fresh. It can be really beautiful.
I have seen fresh snow as late as summer solstice.
Then the Fourth of July comes along and real summer begins.
It’s nice while it lasts…
Then one day in late August the wind will turn,
it will barely be noticed because it’s so subtle.
It’s just a soft touch to remind anyone who notices.
Winter will return... or did it ever leave?
