Time Well Spent

About 10 years ago I had some scraps from a project.
With some old screws and a few minutes
I put together a few bird houses.
This one has been used successfully
every year by the tree swallows.
The lesson is don’t think that the
small things don’t matter, they do!

Looks like one happy swallow. We don't have any here (that I've seen) - just crows and magpies - and my sweet quails haven't shown up this year :(

The birdhouse has developed character along the way. That's an interesting little bird.
