Just what we need - More laws that don't work!

I usually don't get involved with all the bullshit!
The busybodies who think they know what we need by
passing more laws thinking they are helping some situation.
They just know it's the cure all answer for anything that is ailing us.
Most of the time it is all because someone knows someone else.
They promote their pet project or they are worried about staying in office.
So they pass some feel good law or do it as a covert act of cronyism.
Where I live it's true and when they need a law to graft their beliefs or needs,
They pass a law! They don't care who it damages or who pays for it.
It would be refreshing to see someone attain office who doesn't
pass more laws and promote short term thinking!
