not long now! ;-)

I've finally found the site of where they're hoping to build the outdoors centre,
just have to sit and wait for them to start building now!
I hope i'm still doing this PaDing lark then...

Is this off the road to the south end of Ettrick? I thought they were building it on the farmland between the Barone Road and Loch Fad.

Seems a pity to carve up this pretty land to build a sporting complex! Its a gorgeous
view and I love that tree against the misty mountains!

You have some great photographs in this gallery. Re: visits to Bute - my Dad worked for BR in the 50's we used to travel from N London by train and then catch the paddle-steamer for Bute, staying in Rothesay. Great memory jogger. Keep up the good work. Bonnes Fetes. Chris :-}
