25th July

its a year and a half ago that they knocked down Balochgoy(the Goy)
and still nothing has been done to replace the old houses!
all there is up there is loads and loads of weeds!
at a time when 3+ bedroom council/housing dept houses are of a shortage this isn't good.
people are still holding out in whats left of Mansefield Place
waiting to be rehoused with 1 and 2 bedroom flats too small for their needs.
Fyne Homes(housing Dept) has actually bought an ex council house off a private owner
at full asking price for one of the families in there i've heard
and yet they still insist on building 1 and 2 bedroom flats if and where possible?
the old court house is next to be turned into 1 and 2 bedroom flats.

ah, nothing like starting the week with a rant heheh

Nice perspective showing asmall village.
Now you must not grumble about what planners do and dont do, somebody has to spend your taxes.

I actually remembered that one of those was Stu's! Nice shot Zak.

Looks like a great place to take a walk. The golden rods bring nice color to the background.

You must be standing on the site of one of my old houses, with a great view of another! Need to head to Bute soon, methinks.

I like the comp with the gap in the weeds to encourage the view behind. Isn't this the dreaded ragweed, poisonous to cattle?

I like the perspective on the hillside.

I remember one of the first photos of yours I saw was that of The Goy being torn down.
Nice lot of shots to prove it too.

Whew, now that you have that rant out of the way, maybe you'll have a great week! ;-)
