17th May

This island seems to have a thing for digging holes
building walls, knocking down buildings etc

at the moment we have a few cranes building something or other on the pier,
a couple of trucks digging up the park,
a fountain on its side with workmen looking into its hole
and now a bunch of cones have appeared on this road!
Where did they get so many cones i wonder to cone all this work?
and what the heck are they all doing!!??

These trees have had a neat trim.

That cone's seen better days. I'm sure I passed it on the M56 a few months back!!

Is that Inverkip power station tower behind the van? Great cloud shot across the water.

Someone spent a lot of time pleaching those trees. The cones are there for you to play "dodge the cones." That is a wicked looking sky in the little shot, but I like the road with the fence on the side and the trees on the other best of all.

I like these trees - they're so well groomed. Are they always like that or did you do it special for this photo?
