1st May

A wreck pic to start the new month heheh

been raining alot of the day,
the island is still packed with tourists though,
most of who cant seem to drive!! (its them bloody english i tell ya...) ;-)

Not only have we had the Jazz Festival this weekend
but also a motorbike club rally too! (click the pic below)
Some of these bikers must have come last year
because i've noticed they've been out to the port to lay flowers
for the poor biker that suffered a heart attack
and died in his tent last year whilst camping out there for the rally.

Tourists were here this time last year too! (a rather nice Alfa Spider)

Konica-Minolta DiMAGE Z2

That's a cracker!

I love how the light softened out much of the background so that the shipwreck really stands out. The poor wreck looks sad though. :-)

Well taken image Zak.
If I'm down your way this is one location I'll be visiting.

A beautiful wreck if ever I did see one. Do you scuttle these on purpose....?

Has my vote....your take on this is excellent. Is there a petition to save this wreck from removal, cause there should be !!
Guest 01-May-2005 20:11
great shot!
I like the way boat stands out in the picture...where the details are emphasized as the background just blends well in colour.
Guest 01-May-2005 20:03

Great composition Zac with the wreck leaning into the frame. Nice misty blue background colour.
Guest 01-May-2005 19:23
Lovely image. Can imagine it as a big oil painting in some Scottish Laird's big house.
David Clunas01-May-2005 19:20
the lighting is great on this Zak, almost looks like the Caribbean!
Guest 01-May-2005 19:09
Lovely soft background - aren't you tempted to go exploring it?
Ian Clowes01-May-2005 18:50
Wrecktacular!
Did you lure this ship onto the shore as a 'rainy day' PaD option!?
JeremyGood01-May-2005 18:44
