This coming weekend would(should!) of been the Mountstuart Classic,
But because of CalMac and whatever idiot decided to built a fort round Bute its been cancelled,

It was a really good show last year, Old and New cars turned out for the event
and even the Williams F1 and B.A.R F1 teams were there!
Plus many celebs including Murray Walker and Robbie Coltrane :-)

It's a shame that all the efforts to promote tourism on the island are spoiled by a greedy public company and bureaucrats who need to spend European grants on things that might be needed once a century, but which ruin one of the best things about the island, and make it look like a prison a la Alcatraz. Someone, or several people, ought to be losing their jobs and have a 6 foot wall build around their house.
