It must say something about my age... I can remember not only when there was a pier and a beach at the Albert Pier, but I also remember the big red crane that took the coal out of the puffers and onto the back of McKirdy and McMillan lorries (when their main depot was at the top of Bishop Street). This picture of the tug just brought back these childhood memories ;-)
