Another reason why we can't miss a day visiting Zak. Something I hadn't seen before.

Nearly as old as me.

Late Neolithic, early Bronze age. 1500-500BC, I think. Probably ceremonial/religious. There were nine stones at Ettrick, but only four-and-a-half remain. I am an expert, you know! Not only Wiki but Canmore, the website of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland. Worth a look if you're interested.

They look nearly as old as Mick Jagger and co.

I could, but Google would probably know better than me!

One day, Zak, you must give us the history of the Stones.
