drive out kingarth, by the cemetry there's a big sign pointing to St Blanes, drive to the end of that road then walk up the hill

Takes ages if you start from Lerwick. Ten minutes if you park the car a couple of miles past Bute International Airport.

Agreed. My favourite place on the island. I wonder what the old monks would've made of the nuclear sub. Rueful shaking of heads is my guess.
