I don't know exactly why, but this photo takes me back to our visits to the Middle East. Probably because of my great fondness of enjoying teatime. What a beautiful antique set. It was also photographed from a very interesting perspective. Thanks for sharing!

At some time in the past there must have been many guests expected. Looking at the fine tea set, marveling at all those cups...it makes me dream of happy gatherings with lots of friends and family together. The Dutch have a special word, "gezeligheid," just for the warmth and coziness of being with friends and enjoying one another's company. That's what this tea set conjures up for me.
