Rababa

Petra

The Rababa is a string instrument with a long tubular neck that extends the length of the instrument. The rababa is the oldest of the bowed instruments, having usually 1 string, but sometimes 2. The single-string rababa is most often used in simple songs, and is the instrument most used by the desert Bedouin nomads.

Nice picture; very natural look to it and the comment with respect to the instrument makes it more interesting.

The image is extremely well done. Plus you've taught me something new. When they say a "picture is worth a thousand words", your photo brings the words to life.
