Great Arab Revolt Flag

The Giant Flag in Aqaba is the 2nd tallest freestanding flagpole in the world.
The Giant Flag was erected to commemorate the Great Arab Revolt of 1916 against the Ottoman Empire. The leader of the Revolt was Sharif Hussein Bin Ali, the great-great grandfather of HIM King Abdullah II.
