We have a sort of mini-arboretum at the top end of a small holding paddock. There's very tall forest trees, and an understorey of native plants for the birds to nest in. We planted them all ourselves in this patch. When we moved here about 30 years ago we only had 6 original ancient trees in situ, we've planted hundreds since. Dick often plants left overs from his "Trees for Life" yearly project, so the native plants aren't always indigenous to the area. The area is also a graveyard for our deceased pets, its always been an area they loved. This particular shot is a very small area of the arboretum.
