Long handled loppers, secateurs in their holster, arm guards and leather gloves! Any day now I'll be starting the big job...have been preparing the garden so I can get around! Clearing the pathways, planting new roses, removing a couple of non-performers etc. Dick had to dig some holes yesterday & one of the roses that got the chop had roots as big as a mallee-root (gum-tree root from a eucalyptus tree that grows in the arid areas of Australia) - and he's still grumbling :o)
That green plastic in the foreground belongs to an outside table turned on its side to keep next-doors pup off the side balcony. Our brat and the neighbours dog upended quite a few pots on that balcony so they're now banned from that area!
