Terminus Hotel

Rankine Street

So named because the Horse Tram stopped here.
First built by Donald Gollan in the 1840's, the Hotel was burnt down in 1867
and rebuilt in its present form by Richard Hooper from Cornwall,
son in law of Col. Dawson.
This information from the book "Old Strathalbyn and its People"
by Nancy Gemmell, published by Strathalbyn National Trust.
