Tropical plants in nature

Clifton Beach, north Queensland

I was amazed to see plants growing naturally up other tropical trees, like these vines
with huge leaves... down south where I live these are usually grown in pots indoors!

Please forgive me, my brain feels fried tonight... so hot and humid today.
We still have electricity, though we could lose it at any time.

Such lovely colours - the pale bark shows off the greens beautifully V

Looks like an Umbrella Tree growing on or beside a paperbark, and just maybe a Monstera or something similar in climbing in the background. Yes, the humid tropics!
Stay cool! We're actually having a run of slightly below-average temperatures with lots of misty, overcast days (but bright and sunny today), you'll be jealous to know.

Such growth and beauty. Love this beautiful image. Stay cool! Meantime, we have -17 temperatures (-27 with the windchill), two extremes! V

Yes, same here in Portugal. Plants here grow in nature, which in Germany are only grown indoors. Weather is really hard on you! Hope you are fine! v.

I suppose everything came from a natural habitat
