Fire season - January

At home

I walked down to the horse paddock fence to take a few photos of the smoke
but the sky is full of clouds making the smoke difficult to see, and it
has moved further east. This following photo shows the line of smoke
but I had to force it with a filter otherise the smoke was lost amongst
the clouds.

A huge bushfire has burnt over 4,700 hectares of bushland and a few little
hills towns have suffered, including houses, sheds, livestock and native animals.
We have a view of the smoke from where we live, it was much clearer yesterday
when the sky was blue without any clouds, but in temperatures of 44dC+ there
was no way I'd venture outside to take photos... its only 39dC today and windy.

Pleased to see you were not in the direct path of the fire Von. This is such a beautiful view you have from your property! V

It's a beautiful view. Sure hope the fire stays well away. Thankfully our Irish rain means that's something we don't have to worry about,,

I do hope that you will be safe from the fires Yvonne and that the wind does not turn and push it in your direction. There are none over this way at the moment but I could be called up to come and help out over there if it keeps going.
