The park alongside the rose garden maze caters for picnic lunches, barbecues etc, with
plenty of space to kick a football, and is alongside a bike trail. Our younger family
members (including our youngest daughter and husband) rode here on the Shiraz Trail
and we met up with them with a feed of freshly caught crabs that Dick supplied. They
then rode their bikes back to McLaren Vale and we met them again for a coffee before we
all headed off on our separate ways.

This Rose Garden Maze has been a joint project between the local council and trades people
in the area that include a rose nursery.
