St. Johns Anglican Church

St. John's was built in 1872-3 in Gothic Revival style. In 1907 the Apse and Vestry were added. Later in 1973 the Vestry and enlarged to celebrate the church's 100th year. The Parish of Coromandel Valley was constituted in 1895. This is the view from the back of the church
showing the addition of the new vestry. Prior to be church being built, religious services were held in the homes of the Coromandel Valley community.

Great to see these old Australian churches, Yvonne.
Thanks for the history, too.
If you'd like to see some old English churches, then I have a couple of folders in my portfolio that might interest you. ('English churches' and 'Truro Cathedral')
Kind regards,
Chris
P.S. Thank you for your comments on my flowers.
