Smoooochie smooch xxxxx

A pair of Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus funereus) smooching in a tree
outside our lounge-room window.. photo taken through glass. There was a small flock
in the tree, but when I tried going out onto the balcony most flew away.

In my rush to grab the cam & change lens, I forgot to install the lens-hood, grrr.

I would find it so amazing to visit where cockatoos are wild. Here you only see them in zoos or the pet store (with huge price tags) .. I've never seen black ones before! Good catch in a hurry
