A lovely portrait of her Yvonne.

I like the post processing and it is darned cold here. My dog hates the heat and the cold. I like the capture of her sitting there saying, "Mom, I'm fine....I'll be in in a minute". LOL!

A fun shot of Flossie on the move and showing a lot of energy despite the heat.
Stewart Mitchell10-Jan-2010 21:10
I like the space you have given her in this composition...very nice!
Doug Cruden10-Jan-2010 19:48

Send some of that warm air this way.
Flossie is precious and Barnum and Ms. Bailey Bentwhiskers, the pugs, send a big WOOF! WOOF! her way...
Guest 10-Jan-2010 13:15
You used a very nice model, Yvonne! -)
Phillip Normanton10-Jan-2010 13:07
Aww - your grainy high contrast processing gives Flossie a cool mood - in the photo at least :o)
Bernard Davis10-Jan-2010 11:34
Yes, definately a dog. She looks relaxed but attentive. Love the processing.
Kathryn10-Jan-2010 10:29

They always take their own road, regardless of what we think is good for them!! I don't envy you your temperatures - would you like some of our snow? :)
Gerard Koehl10-Jan-2010 08:04
Magnifique traitement... V
Greg Christie10-Jan-2010 07:57
Hope you get some relief. Not quite as hot here. Great image. The contrast exemplifies the heat!

truly a silly dog..., my dutch cat position herself in the little current of cool air when it is there,
she cannot cope very well with the Australian hot summers
I like your picture of Flossie!
Jim Stone10-Jan-2010 03:57
Dogs sometimes do the strangest things. At least he's got a white coat. My black dog lays in the sun on the hottest days...
Guest 10-Jan-2010 03:52

Flossie is a real cute little pup! Love the B&W tones here - they work really well. V.
Jola Dziubinska10-Jan-2010 01:38
Nice effect which makes you think about cold snow around, rather than heat.
Bill Ewart Jr10-Jan-2010 01:09
