Remnant fruit trees & pine plantation
All there is left of the experimental orchard are a few trees noticeable when their leaves change colour in the autumn.
We'll be away for a few days, back next Saturday.

Reflections in Minno Creek
A tiny creek or stream that flows through the old disused experimental orchard before it joins with the Sturt River (creek) and flows down through suburbia to the sea. Until we have some decent winter rains it stays as a series of rock pools as you can see in this photo.

Pathway
Frequented by school-kids and locals and mostly hidden from the road traffic, its a bit of a climb uphill and down dale but this bit is nice and even.

Oak tree and outhouse
Situated by the side of the Minno Creek and originally part of an experimental
orchard that serviced the local fruit growers. Sadly there are only a couple
of fruitgrowers left in the area, the little hills town has become part of
suburbia in the past decade or two.

By the side of the creek
Not much water in the creek, it has passed us by and gone further astream
but the colours of autumn are here too. And yes, I did use the tripod.

The rich colours of autumn
One of the prettiest autumns I can remember, probably attributed to the
very cold May where the temperatures were the coldest for 100 years.
