The Gladiator Calliope was fully rebuilt in 2009. In the Summer of the 2009 season, this machine was entirely closed off so it could be fully rebuilt onsite by Arthur Reblitz and John Hovancak who then gave it a new scale with specialized music for it (doing away with it playing the "O" roll it played at the time these pictures were taken).

They are holding the instruments. the conductor moves as well. the guy holding the stick rings the bell, the drummer beats the drums and the the man holding the symbol strikes it while the the keys on the organ move on there own.
