Nice shot, and good commentary Russel. Indeed, humans aren't on spiders food menus and have little reason to be aggressive toward us. I've often had jumping spiders hitch a ride in my flash when photographing them, and end up inside, but have never been bitten by one. They're just extremely curious little guys, and my favorite spider. Keep shooting, hope to see more.

THEY ARE NOT AGGRESSIVE TO HUMANS, A JUMPING SPIDER. THEY CAN GIVE A PAINFUL BITE IF YOU TRY TO HANDLE THEM. TRY OFFERING A CRICKET TO APPEASE IT.

I HAVE ONE OF THESE IN MY SUV, GOING ON 3MTHS NOW. I ONLY SEE IT ONCE OR SO EACH MTH. SOMETIMES INSIDE AND SOMETIMES OUTSIDE OF MY CAR. SHOULD I BE WORRIED? PLEASE HELP.. LAST SEEN, INSIDE ON MY DASH...
