Ventiports from a 1955 Buick. Prior to 1955, four of them could only mean that the car was from the top of the line Roadmaster series. But in 1955, a year in which Buick sold over 700,000 vehicles and finished third in the industry behind "The Hot One" from Chevy and Ford, four ventiports could mean a Roadmaster, Super, or Century series car. Only the entry level Special had three that year. Thanks for this great detail photgraph of one of Buick's most memorable styling features. Look for these to return on the new Lucerne, replacing Buick's bread and butter LeSabre series this Fall.
