Your colors are spectacular, Xin, and so are the textures you present. Wonderful scale incongruity, too. This reminds me of my own dune image made at Coral Dunes State Park that you commented on eleven days before you made this image. (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/69219412 ) Were you thinking of my image as you made this one? I am thinking that you did -- and your own image is quite striking in its own way. Your layers are differently structured and illuminated. I plan on shooting with Tim in Death Valley in February or March. Looking forward to it. Meanwhile, I am getting ready to interpret the dunes of the Sahara Desert in Morocco next month. I hope the light and color will as rich as yours is here.
