Colours of Mauritania

Pictures taken during a trip to Mauritania (December 2008). It was a great experience and I'll try to show with pictures the big amount of sensations lived there...Thanks for visiting!!!

Resting... Sunset from Ouadane... A lonely shack... Calm... Crossroads...
Touching smiles... Not coloured SP from Mauritania :-)) Playing... Just before working... Taking care of all his stuff...
Lighting... Behind the waves... A cloudy nightfall... It's time for a haircut... Sea of dunes...
A crowded desert... Where the sea waves and the sand waves join... Corner... Waiting for a good catch... Building the future...
A bit of shyness... Chinguetti typical building... Retired... Fishing port... Taking a walk...
Realizing that the Mauritanian desert is not small...:-) A peaceful conversation... Fully booked... Going down, going up... It has been a hard way to see the 7 wonders!...
His books, his treasures... Signs... Twin doors... Coming back to workplace... Ending the daily work...
Colourful profile... The day ends...but the smile remains... Walking to the telephone... Coming back home after shopping... Mauritanian woman

These are the best Mauiritania shots I've seen yet. I'm planning to add them to my 14.000+ desert images I use for desktop backgrounds (no commercial use). The vastness of the desert is riveting! Thanks...you're a master!!!
