Chickadee Ballet
I took this one yesterday. These are the first birds courageous enough to come to the feeders. They are cheerful little guys and I enjoy watching them.

Carolina Wren
Bright and chilly today, with the temps actually supposed to get above freezing. I had watched this Carolina Wren search the back porch this morning, and when he went to the feeders I finally got a shot of him. He didn't want to hold still very long, and he loves the berry-flavored suet.

Frozen Nuthatch
Cold this morning, with temps around 18 degrees. I slipped outside this morning and caught this shot of this nuthatch who was very reluctant to fly. I wondered if there was something wrong with him, but I think he was just cold and didn't want to give up his position with the suet.
