I didn't intend to go this far into the motor, but seeing cracked wires running into the motor to the stator made it necessary. I removed every bit of connecting wire, and cleaned the ends of the winding wires, soldered new wires on, and used the liquid electric tape to secure and seal the new solder joints, about 7 coats of the stuff to be exact.
