No matter what you might have thought of Smart parts in the 90's there was one indisputable fact. If you wanted a splash pattern, they offered one of the best. This pattern was also shared by Eclipse, and you often saw Eclipse products marketed alongside Belsales by Smart Parts, in particular their splash Automag kits. Although today Eclipse is a major player in the paintball industry, it wasn't until the E-blade that they really sprang into their own. In the 90's they were a somewhat known name, but few of their complete guns made it across the Atlantic. They started to gain fame with the Eclipse Angels due to the lack of options for the early angel, however, their cockers still made it over in limited numbers. It’s far easier to find an Eclipse LED angel then it is anything else, although I do see a few of their sovereigns for sale on occasion.
This particular Eclipse comes from Poland and was incomplete. It still is, but I decided to slap a frame on it and take a few pics. If It stays around, I'll probably end up making it into something of a sleeper. After all, no one expects a right feed slide triggered cocker to be anything but junk...right?
