In late 2008 Chrisshanks offered up a limited run of kit guns to Customcockers.com elite members. Eight were to be produced, one was Chris's personal gun which was the only 2k+ of the lot, one unnumbered test run and six numbered production guns. two styles were offered, and RDL like no frills body and the original style, an RDL style body with dragon backing. The preorders went fast and I didn't jump fast enough. Chris in the end offered me the test body though, which happened to be the dragon backing I wanted (always a favorite of mine, sadly it is seldom seen). Imagine my shock when it arrived and I got to looking at it and realized it was my old 98 STO kit body I had sold a few years ago, the first cocker I had built from scratch. I had thought about getting it milled up before I sold it, but instead had just sold it, now its back.
